Management Team

AquaResource's management team includes Paul J. Martin and David Van Vliet. Paul and David have complementary experience in the water resource industry, and are able to work with your team to implement innovative solutions.

Paul J. Martin, President

Paul J. Martin, President of AquaResource Inc., has been working in the industry since 1992, specializing in the application of groundwater models for water supply, contaminated sites, and de-watering studies. Having successfully completed more than 100 groundwater modeling projects, many of them for regional-scale aquifer systems, Paul has gained a wealth of experience in the practical application of data analysis and modeling tools to solve real-world problems.

Paul has worked on consulting modeling projects for: water resources definition and characterization, surface and groundwater hydraulics and hydrology, development and climate change impact assessment, environmental site assessments, contaminant remediation system design, mining water supply and waste management, municipal landfills, and impact evaluation of agricultural activities.

David Van Vliet, Vice President

David J. Van Vliet has been working in the industry since 1992, specializing in the development and application of databases, geographic information systems (GIS), groundwater models, and surface water models. David has applied these technologies on many projects for public and private organizations throughout North America.

David has worked on consulting projects for: water resources protection, dewatering for mining and aggregate resources development, mine tailings impact assessment, mine tailings consolidation, wetland impact assessment, soil and groundwater remediation, and watershed-based erosion and sedimentation assessments.
