Region of Peel Groundwater Supply Study

Having completed the initial study in the Fall 2007, AquaResource continues its work with the Region of Peel to protect the groundwater supplies of four communities.
The Region of Peel has been a leader in groundwater protection and continues this commitment under the Provincial Source Water Protection Initiative. This project will focus on delineating wellhead protection areas, examining the vulnerability of the municipal water supplies to contamination, and the identification of potential contaminant sources.
