AquaResource is pleased to present our GIS-based Software for generating cross-sections! As part of our committment to serving our client's needs, AquaResource has developed a MANIFOLD extention which allows users to 1) link to external databases of wells (water wells, oil wells, consultants wells); 2) map well locations and interactively select cross-section locations; 3) draw cross-section profiles illustrating the borehole details (lithology, chemistry, water levels, etc), 4) interpret geologic / hydrogeologic interconnections and 5) populate an external interpretation table with selected elevations at interpreted boreholes.
AquaMapper XS provides an essential tool to develop 3-dimensional interpretations of geologic / hydrogeologic conditions. Being contained within a GIS environment, users have the advantage of access to standard GIS tools (info tool to look at well attributes, geographic cursor location, interactive zoom, etc.). A further advantage of AquaMapper XS over other cross-section tools is that borehole-referenced interpretations are stored in the database, providing the appropriate technical support for all 3D models developed.
